They've landed! For the past couple days, we've been seeing tiny toadlets near the shoreline and around the perimeter of the house. Last night, this little guy stayed put on the garage doorstep while I ran in to grab my camera. He was only about 3/4" long--easily mistaken for a leaf or stone, so watch where you step on summer evenings! These little guys were first discovered as tadpoles in the lake in mid-June
(see 6-15 post), and they've finally made their way to land. More help with pest predation--yes!
