Fowl Fellowship
At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but this little group of ducks and geese have appeared together at the shoreline often enough that it seems to be intentional — 2 geese, a mother duck, and seven good-sized ducklings. At least one of the geese typically stands guard while the others forage for food in the water or on shore. He alerts the group to any threatening nearby activity...and then they move on. Together. Watch for them!
