It seems that even the mention of spring was enough to bring winter rushing back to remind us that it's folly to think we've seen the last snowflake of the season. And so we were reminded this morning, as we gazed out on the lake, with its open water and visiting spring migrators, that the last postings on the site were simply wishful thinking. But it's beautiful, that wet snow...unless you have to shovel it. And yes, that's the morning sun in the eastern sky, on its way to brighten the day. And melt a bit of snow, perhaps. More wishful thinking.
