A Mother Goose Story

While we Spring Lake residents are known to revile the presence of Canada geese in our backyards (actually, it's more what they leave behind that we revile), you may be surprised at this touching story of a mother goose who summoned the help of a Cincinnati police officer to rescue one of her goslings, who was tangled in the string of a balloon.
